Buying a fixer upper/foreclosure listed for $15,000 what should i offer in cash?
I'm considering purchasing a fixer upper in Akron, OH and list price is $15,000. The neighborhood is not that great and house definitely needs work. Anyone who might know real estate, what would I possibly need to offer to close this deal, by the way I will be purchasing with cash? Thanks for your feedback!

Why don't you have a real estate agent working with you? Any number us here at Y/A throw out will mean nothing, as we don't know the market, what the house needs done (sounds like a lot!) or what it truly may be worth. You may be buying something that turns into a money pit and in a neighborhood where if you are going to try to sell after fixing it up (flipping it) it may not be worth or sell what you put into it. I would steer away from a house that is 15k in a shady neighborhood. Expect to have any tools, supplies, building materials or even appliances etc you put in to be possibly stolen or vandalized. This is going to screw your budget up for fixing up this place.
